NEW RELEASE—Dear Tiger: I Don’t Think I’m Human Anymore

Dear Tiger: I Don't Think I'm Human Anymore is the second chapter-book in Carlie Simonsen's Letters Across Space series - and this time, we get to see Tiger's letters, as well. It seems that, when mankind moves into space, that's not the only frontier humanity finds, and these two are caught right in the middle of the next advance.

Trapped in a room, and unable to hug her family, Simone knows she is changing. She just doesn’t know what she’s changing into, or how long it will take. The company doctors won’t tell her, and Tiger seems so far away. But at least he writes back, and he’s trying to help. Maybe, together, they can find a way out

NEW COVER: Memory’s Vampire

The cover for C.M. Simpson’s horror short story, Memory’s Vampire, has arrived.

Not all vampires feed on blood. The ones we hunt take your memories before they take your life—and now they are hunting back. We’ve been compromised, and I don’t know who to trust. That comes later. Right now, I just want to make it back to my body alive

NEW RELEASE: Reluctant Liaison

C.M. Simpson's urban fantasy short story, Reluctant Liaison, has just released and will return to the usual price of 2.99, shortly. It is available on Smashwords, Amazon, and DriveThruFiction, and is available via Draft2Digital distribution.

I woke up in a car—upside down, staring into the faces of a half dozen pixies sitting on a tree branch. To one side, was a cliff face, to the other, sky, and things were starting to shift. Apparently, I’d had an interesting night… if only I could remember what it was, and why I’d run, and why following the pixies scared me almost as much as the idea of staying in the car…

In Reluctant Liaison the Paranormal Operations Squad is faced with a dilemma outside their usual remit, when Otherworld and ‘real’ world cultures clash.

New Releases in January 2018

January this year saw us kick off with one release each week in genres ranging from young adult science fiction to erotic urban fantasy romance. These releases were as follows:

5th - The Queen's Game by C.M. Simpson

Never get involved with the Otherworld Fey. Take my word for it. I saved the Queen of Summer, and was betrothed to a lord of Winter by way of thanks—and then the human underworld got involved. So what do I do, when every choice is bad? What would you choose: death by troll, or the mercy of an elf?

13th - A Planet's Ransom by Carlie Simonsen

Made hostages for a world whose international leaders didn’t know how to behave, we ended up on a new world, one we have to make our own, where every step of civilisation has to be earned, all over again. It’s meant to be a world to hide the secret of our survival—but not all the aliens believe we have a right to survive. Torn between two rival factions of an alien race, we have to save our keepers, defeat our hunters, and get a message to the stars.

And that’s just if we want to live.

Making a place for humanity, is another task altogether.

A Planet’s Ransom is the second book in the Space Adventures series, a series of science fiction adventures set in space, or on the colonies of newly discovered worlds. Each book is a stand-alone story that can be read without needing to read other books in the series.

20th - In Full Flight by Carlie Simonsen

Jack’s dad has a secret—a sad secret. He has never told Jack how he lost his wings. One day he does, and Jack’s world changes. At the same time, someone from his parents’ past comes into their present, and they must work out how to stop things from the past happening all over again.

In Full Flight is the third book in the Wings chapter book series, set around a family with wings and bird-like feet. This book is darker than the other two, dealing with themes of difference, discrimination at a state level, and finding a place to belong.

27th - Welcome to the Fruit Platter by Ellie Moonwater

Swept into a whirlwind courtship with two werewolves, Louise has just one problem—the secret she is keeping from the pack. When her mates discover what she’s been holding back, will they stand by her? And what of the pack? Louise must choose: trust in them, or run? Either way, sanctuary seems a lifetime away.

WARNING: Welcome to the Fruit Platter contains explicit, consensual and kinky sex, some spanking, two very lust-driven werewolves, multiple scenes of menage, mfm, and some wizards on the prowl.
