THE MEDUSA'S STARMAN
MARCH 3RD
Hani is surprised when his wife joins him on the journey to barter for spider silk, moreso when she brings their children. Nothing, however, prepares him for what the children do when they meet the spider queen.
A
poem for every day of the leap year, drawn from the fantastical, the future and
the fallout from real life—and written for dreamers everywhere. These poems
mainly use the genres of science fiction, fantasy and horror for inspiration,
although there are a few whose roots are buried deep in the disappointments of
the real. So, if trolls, fairies, dragons, recovering from workplace bullies,
and flying with starships, or dealing with regrets and finding hope—always
finding hope—are your thing, then welcome. Come walk the wanderings of my mind.
I could use some company.
Hani is surprised when his wife joins him on the journey to barter for spider silk, moreso when she brings their children. Nothing, however, prepares him for what the children do when they meet the spider queen.
366 Days of Poetry (EBook)
MARCH 5TH
366 poems of fantasy, science fiction, speculation and
social comment, exploring the darkness, the future and the fear.
MEMORY'S RETURN
MARCH 17TH
I don’t remember how I got in the alley, at least, not
when I first wake up—and I don’t remember the names of these friendly faces
making sure I’m okay, but it’s coming back. I just wish it would come back
faster, because one of these faces is all kinds of wrong underneath the
friendly veneer, with an agenda all their own, and they don’t mind putting my
team in danger. If I don’t remember the whos and whats and whys real soon, one,
or all, of us is going to end up dead, and who’s going to save the pixies then?
THE MAGICIANS AND THE SILK ROAD
MARCH 31ST
Hani is surprised when his wife joins him on the
journey to barter for spider silk, moreso when she brings their children.
Nothing, however, prepares him for what the children do when they meet the
spider queen.
